Forget Me Not, Baby: a sweet and clean Christian romance. By Amy Lillard

It's time for some fun summer reads.  If you are looking for a nice clean romance be sure to add this one to your list. Escape to Texas with Forget Me Not, Baby, a book that will tug at your heartstrings.

From the excerpt:  Waite Harris has been dealt more than a few hard knocks the last few years. After his NFL career-ending injury and more than one bad investment, Waite finds himself unemployed, broke, and adrift. From there it is a short drop to rock bottom. Then Waite's ex-wife abandons his infant daughter on his doorstep. Now he's cleaned himself up and found the perfect place to raise his brown-eyed Lacy--in the sweet air of the Texas countryside on an ostrich ranch near a town with the unlikely name of Nowhere. But he needs a business partner to make it all come together. Enter Winston Jericho.

Sydney Jericho is not about to let some has-been shyster con her father into becoming partners in a run-down bird farm , located--literally--in Nowhere, Texas. Winston is obviously having a harder time dealing with his wife's death than Sydney had initially realized. But she has it all under control now; she's going to get her father from the ranch and take him back to Austin where he belongs.

After Sydney falls at the ranch and loses her memory, what's a father to do but use the miraculous situation to his own advantage? After all, it was nothing short of Divine intervention that Sydney concocts her own personal backstory including a marriage to Waite and the small detail that she is Lacy's mother.

It goes against every grain of Waite's being to allow Sydney to continue in her own reality, but the doctor insists that she will eventually remember the truth. Winston seems to think it's a fine idea to let it all happen in its own time, but Waite only promises a week. A week of pretending that she is his wife. A week of allowing her to believe that Lacy is her daughter. And a week to convince her that the ranch is where her father belongs.

But after that week...will Sydney forgive him the deception? Or will she consider their subterfuge unforgivable?

And what of the matter that he thinks he just might be falling in love with her?

Follow Waite Harris as he navigates the challenges of single parenthood and finding his place in the world again building up his run-down ranch with the help of partner Winston Jericho.

But when Sydney Jericho enters the picture, plans take an unexpected turn.  Thanks to a convenient accident she no longer remembers why she's there  Will she be able to resist the charm of Waite's little girl and the allure of a simpler life in Texas when she remembers?

Find out in this well-written and heartwarming tale of love and second chances. Let Forget Me Not, baby remind you that no matter how far you may fall, redemption and love are always within reach. A great summer read!  Happy reading!

One More Time For Joy (The Paradise Valley Series) by Amy Lillard

Joy Lehman has pressed on faithfully since losing her husband, raising their children, and running a thriving bakery alone. Even caring for her oldest son, Johnny—seriously injured after a fall—has not shaken her fierce independence. Johnny will walk again, she’s sure. Until then, a meeting of the Widows’ Club at her home makes it clear that Joy must consider some costly renovations. Her brother-in-law, Uriah, is happy to provide the lumber and the labor—if Joy will accept his help.

Uriah understands family challenges—he’s a widower himself, and father to four daughters. Yet he can see that Joy’s struggle lies deeper than house repairs, in learning to accept an altered future for her son. As Uriah’s daughters begin helping in the bakery, and Joy and Uriah’s bond grows deeper, a new possibility glows bright—the unexpected happiness that lies in embracing one strong, united family, filled with support and love . . .

Every book in this series just gets better and better.  Joy is struggling with raising her children alone.  Her oldest is in a wheelchair and the house just isn't accessible to him.  Despite the doctor's predictions that he will remain wheelchair-bound, Joy is convinced he will walk in time.

Uriah, her brother-in-law steps in to help and build an accessible home.  His daughters even start helping out as well.  Uriah begins to have feelings for Joy but Joy doesn't seem to return them.

The kinner decide to take matters into their own hands and what ensues is a bit of chaos, comedy and maybe a second chance at love.  With a great storyline and plot twists this was a great book in an already great series.

So pick up your copy of One More Time For Joy and dive into a great book.  Happy Reading!
